Sandwich Calculator
Sandwich counts, bread loaves, and deli pounds for crowds.
What it does
Sandwich trays run on halves and loaves. Counts from guests times appetite turn into bread and deli without mid party runs.
The tool above scales the platter. Twenty guests at 1.5 each need 30 sandwiches from 3 loaves with 7.5 lb of deli. The metric match is 3.4 kg.
Appetite sets the middle. One each suits snack tables, one and a half suits lunch, and two plus suit crews.
Loaves yield about ten sandwiches each. Halved loaves mix flavors across trays and look generous doing it.
Deli runs a quarter pound per sandwich. Meats and cheeses split the weight, with condiments beside.

Quick checks. Answers sit tucked under each question.
12 guests, 1 each?
round(12 x 1) = 12 sandwiches. Loaves are ceil(12 / 10) = 2 loaves. Deli is 12 x 0.25 = 3 lb.
40 guests, 2 each?
round(40 x 2) = 80 sandwiches. Loaves are ceil(80 / 10) = 8 loaves. Deli is 80 x 0.25 = 20 lb.
