Donation Value Calculator
Thrift donation value, item count, and average from closet counts.
What it does
Closet cleanouts carry tax value. Thrift guide prices turn bag counts into deduction dollars for itemizers.
The tool above applies Goodwill guide values. Twelve tops at $4 with 8 bottoms at $6 and 4 shoes at $6 totals $120.00 across 24 items at $5.00 average.
Guide values anchor each line. Shirts near $4, jeans and pants near $6, shoes near $6 pairs, all assuming good condition goods.
Condition gates counting. Stained and torn pieces belong in recycling, not on donation tallies.
Photos close the file. Dated pictures plus this count back the return if questions come.
